Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized support in a school setting. This role requires travel to various educational sites within the Pontotoc, MS area, offering diverse experiences working with students across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school environments with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations regularly
